What is hypnotherapy? |

Hypnosis has been described as a state of highly focused attention.
Have you ever been concentrating so much on something, or just daydreaming so contentedly that you didn't notice the 'phone ringing, somebody trying to attract your attention, or how much time has flown by?
Imagine this occurring while you are deeply, pleasantly relaxed. This is how most people experience hypnosis.
In hypnosis, the hypnotised person remains in control at all times. In this state you are able to use your imagination more effectively and vividly than usual, freed from the usual limiting thoughts. This is what makes it such a powerful tool for a range of problems. |
