Hypnotherapy from Terry Baker

After gaining an Honours Degree in philosophy at the University of Nottingham, I decided to further my interest in the human condition by training as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.

During and since my Nurse training I gained further training and experience in wide range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Counselling, Family Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

Working in the NHS, I developed this range of skills working with a range of people including people with Addictions, Relationship difficulties, Depression, Severe Anxiety and Stress, Bereavement, Obsessive/Compulsive Disorders, Eating problems, and Phobias.

In order to further develop my skills I undertook Solution Focused Brief Hypnotherapy training from David Newton at the prestigious Clifton Practice, widely regarded as the leading hypnotherapy training centre in the South West.

I deal with people in a straightforward and respectful way, abiding by the highest ethical standards. I am registered with and am bound by codes of conduct of the:
